bad leak! help

Default bad leak! help

I noticed a pretty big puddle under my car this morning.. i know its a mess under there. ive been planning to rebuild soon.... but this seems like its bigger. i cant figure out if its tranny? oil? or what.. i circled where it seems to be dripping from



i havnt had a place to jack it up and look under it yet.. any ideas

there is no telling...it could be coming from the heasd or all you know and dripping its way down to there...youll have to jack it up and trace the drip

Can't really tell where it is coming fromthe pics you have, the best thing to do is to clean off all the oil and around it and try to trace it from ther. Good luck.

Yeah, I agree. Could be a combination of leaks, but looks like a lot of oil. Could be the o-ring behind the oil cooler that the filter screws onto (if you have one), oil pan, axle seal, or p/s rack.

The filter would be covered in oil...

That is pressure leak. i.e. it leaks when oil pressure is gained. That would lead me to believe it is a major gasket. Oil or head.
