I have a 93 dx that im putting a z6 head on but im not sure what block i want to use. I have a b7 and a6 and havent been able to find a topic comparing the two blocks with the z6 head. Most of what i am finding id for the b7 block but let me know what you think.

 

Put the b7 pistons into the a6 block. You will have mid 11 compression ratio.

 

Do i still use the y8 head gasket then?

 

What?? When did a Y8 head gasket come into the equation??

 

everything i have read about using the z6 head on the b7 block calls for the y8 head gasket
