B20 vtec wiring issue ,very weird
Okay I have a 96 integra ls 5 speed with a b20 vtec swap in it, its a c1 head on a b20 b block, its been in my car for a few years I've never had any real issues out of it, a few weeks ago it just stopped running wouldn't start.I wasn't getting fuel in one cylinder so I traced it back and found that my obd2 to obd1 jumper harness had become corroded and wires were breaking off, bam problems solved, I got the new jumper plugged it in ,it started right up, I wired the vtec the next day exactly as it was wired on my original jumper, and it was fine car started right up vtec kicked in I drove it all over, everything was great, that was yesterday , I drove it to work today with zero problems, I go to start it on lunch and nothing, its turns over but wont start, I'm not getting any spark, I got out the volt meter and I'm not getting anything to my dizzy, I plugged my ecu into my buddies car his started right up on it, so its not the ecu ,the jumper harness is brand new but it is a cheap one off eBay but I cant believe anything could go wrong in it in two days, so that leaves me with my original LS wiring harness ,does anyone else have a different opinion? I've checked the harness and theses no obvious broken wires, the one connector that plugs into the ecu or in my case the jumper harness is slightly corroded from the water damage but like I said it was running perfect for two day ,any help would be great o the water damage was from my passenger side door weather striping being damaged I wasn't aware it was leaking down into the kick panel area
