Well I want to put a b20 vtec into an 88-91 hf crx. I was wondering if someone could help me on which head and tranny to use and where to find it. If anyone is selling the shell of an hf let me know or any of these parts.

 

use any dohc vtec head(b16a,b18c)..y1,j1,s1 transmission...have to swap out the hf spindles for crx/civic si or dx...use 90-93 integra axles...

 

I was kind of leaning towards a gsr or a type r head and tranny. Which do you consider and do you know where i can find a place that sells just the head and tranny?

If you want to use a hydro tranny, you gonna have to get a cable to hydro conversion.
As far as the head, search the classifies here; you'll find some

 

get a tranny from a 92-93 integra it should be a ys1 still very close gears but still good on the hwy
