Default b20 vtec..oil pump problems

is there any modifications used to put a B16 oil pump onto a b20 block? im trying to put it on and it wont slide all the way on like my stock b20 oil punp does. Another question is can i run b20b oil pump and a gsr water pump?

use GSR/ Type R/ B16 for ur oil pump, otherwise you mite not get adequate oil pressure during VTEC

Yah, force it on with a hammer for 2 hours.

Did you check what is not meshing? Is the oil pump gear lined up right with the crank?

b20 oil pump share the same part number as vtec oil pumps, therefore its a vtec oil pump. no need to replace it for the same pump

I'm sorry but I do not believe B20 engines share the same oil pump as VTEC motors. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think that guy above me is full of ****.

OBD2 B20 oil pumps share the same part number as the VTEC oil pumps. They tend to be a bit cheaper too.
