Default B20 stroker kits

Has anyone heard anything about Eagle's stroker kit they have for the CRV block? I believe it uses a 95mm stroke to make it a 2.2l. I am trying to figure out what is the best way to go?? Suggestions please.

you could use the b20a crank 95mm stroke with a 85mm bore for a nice setup i just dont like the rod stroke ratios of those motors. I would actually destroke and go larger bore

I agree but the bore is limited to 85-87mm and over 85mm cylinder warpage may be a problem. For the quarter mile the increased torque would greatly help. Rod Ratio plays a much larger roll in endurance racing or when the motor size is restricted. I do agree a longer rod is better but unless I invest in a deck plate I think this would be the best?? What do you think?

in my opinion once you start adding deckplates on to engines your defeating the whole purpose of staying in your engine class, imo deckplates are almost like cheating...

you have a 2.0 liter, do the best you can with it, it was never built as a race engine, so why try to make it into one.

( and even if you were making it into a race engine, i would push it to the limit in its current stage, and only go for a stroker kit when more displacement is the ONLY way out)
