Default b20 oil pump on ls block?

Just like the topic says. I know that the obd2 (crv) motors have a crank fluctuation sensor on the oil pump. I have a 95 ls. If I just dont use the crank sensor can I use that pump. Would I have to block off the hole for the sensor? The only reason I want to use that pump is because it is almost 50 dollars cheaper than the obd1 ls pump.

I am using the OBD-2 (96 or 97+ I think) pump on my 91 LS block, which is probably the pump the b20 uses. The crank sensor doesn't go in any hole, there is just a cast attachment point for it. You will need to get a new lower timing cover, though, as the old pump has different mount points for it. The upper cover will work with the new lower without issues. The lower cover gasket is also different, you can modify the old one but I would just order a new one.

EDIT: here is the PN for the pump I am using: 15100-P72-A01
Same pump for all integras 96+ (GSR, ITR, LS) according to this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=746357
