Is a b20 head worth it?
Well I got a 91 crx with a stock b16a engine. My friend told me i shoukd get a b20 block and put the b16 head on it. I got a couple of questions though.1. how much does a b20 block codt.
2. How much hp and torque should I get with the crvtec conversion.
3. Will a crvtec conversion beat a stock b16.
4. If it does, is it even worth the cost and time of maintaining the engine.(Im in highschool and money is scarce)
Thanks.

The only reason im answering this is becuase im bored at work...you should SEARCH for this answer...and dont give anyone that bullshit about how you already did....
Anyway, yes, a b20 block is a good block for crvtec IF BIULT COORECTLY to handle the higher revs that a b20 block was never meant to see. It will absolutly decimate a stock b16 when done due to the torque characteristics of the b20 block (rs ratio-search!). One other thing you can do is put the b16 rods and crank into the b20 block-this will yield a good rs ratio better suited for revs and a 1.8L displacment, all with factory parts. Dont let the mods catch you asking stupid questions that have been answered every other day.....they can be mean.
