Default b20 head on ls block

can i put a b20 head on a b18a1 ls block? if so what head bolts and head gasket do i use? thanks.

you wouldnt want to because it will lower the compression and the head bolts just use the ls ones with a ls headgasket.

isnt the b20 cmbstn,chmber alot bigger than a ls the ls is what 81mm,and the b20 is 84mm is that right will it work

most b20 heads are the exact same as the ls motor, the p8r head(b20) has chambers are 84. if the b20 head is the 81mm you use the ls head gasket.

ok i got the head from my friend's b20b motor that he bought from a shop. i just found out that the head says p75.. isnt that from a ls. it has a b20 manifold and everything, but the head looks like it came from a b18b. i dont really care because i know that the ls head is better, but why did the shop do that? since its a ls head and i got a ls block arent they both 81mm so i should use a ls head gasket right?? if so can i still use the b20 head gasket?

yes p75 is a ls head so is a p75....they are the heads on the newer b18bs. you use the b18(ls) head gasket.
