B20 eagle stroker crank?
Hey ****, on a off topic note, does Area51 have a web page any more? And what happened to Climax Racing? I'm trying to track down one of those CRX rear cross member setups you guys had a while back.

I think honda put a b20a with a 95mm stroke in the older preludes. Just switching to that crank and rods would be way cheaper than buying a kit. Also, I've you want more displacement you're probably better off resleeving with golden eagle sleeves and boring it to ~85mm... or just getting a b20b/z block. A 95mm stroke would screw your rod to stroke ratio... which is bad. (see below)

The kit has a raised wrist pin to lengthen the rod to combat that problem. The guys at RS motorworks are saying it made 245@ the wheels with ctr cams. I have JUN 3's, so I'm kind of interested in getting the kit. I haven't done the math yet to figure out rod stroke ratio but I'm also using the eagle sleeves so I can play with the ratio a little. By the way what is the formula to find out rod ratio?
the prelude b20/b21 crank is ****; dunno about the eagle yet; supposed to be ~$700. wait 'til NA peeps see the dart/payn b-series block (got $2K?) with 1/2 added deck height (who needs a hood?) with that eagle crank/pistons/rods- 2.1L w/ 84.5mm bore and 1.62 r/s ratio. you can prolly stroke it even more, but as it is, with that piston speed, you may need pretty big airhorns/itbs or a ~2L bottle intake mani, and a crazy header. for FI peeps, the closed deck, thick sleeves, and high capacity water jacket allow 50psi.
