Default B20

Are b20's good engines? solid and reliable able to hold a little boost?

I just wanted to know why they are so cheap? and if i need to do any major modifications to my engine bay for a civic.

B20A of course! The B20B/Z goes for around $700-850. Reliablity depends on what you're planning to do...CRvtec or turbo. I wouldn't go over 8 lbs. of boost if you're keeping stock internals.

The B20 is good for all motor or CRVTEC> it does have weaker sleeves then all other honda bolcks. 7mm vs.9mm. But with good tunning you'll be ok, just dont chince out on the fuel delivery and tuning,

Good Luck
