Default b18c5 swap not passing emissions

here's the deal..
i have a kenji chipped p28 and did not pass the first emissions... i clipped J1 like i was supposed to and now my readings are backwards.. something is wrong with this pictures.. .take a look: anyone know? any help???

First reading:

HC ppm: 100/322 FAIL 97/322 FAIL

CO %: 0.56/6.21 FAIL 0.54/6.01 FAIL

NO ppm: 828/350 PASS 749/495 PASS

After clipping J1

Second reading:

HC ppm: 100/55 PASS 97/75 PASS

CO %: 0.56/0.00 PASS 0.54/0.02 PASS

NO ppm: 828/3828 FAIL 749/3870 FAIL

Kenji-chipped p28s run VERY rich. Do you have a VAFC? If you do lean the mixture for partial throttle. If you don't then I would run the stock ecu.

first reading is WAY rich with good timing.
second reading is lean and good for emissions, but appears to ahve super advanced timing.

the thing is that i didn't mess with the timing after i clipped J1 on the ecu... will that happen or is it a result of a bad cat? how much do i have to advance or retard the timing? thanks.. really appreciate it!

j1 is what determines if its running of the new chip or the original program. so you tried to pass emissions with a race program then you tried to pass emissions with the stock p28 program for a d16z6.....you need to get a chip that is designed for your engine AND emissions.
