Budget and desired hp is main consideration. I have a 94 GSR, and started w/ all motor bolt ons, power gain was minimal considering cost. It has now cost me about $5000 in parts to hit 200bhp at wheels on all motor( high compression pistons, cams every bolt on avail, race chipped ECU). If I couldv'e started over w/ a stock GSR again I would now go w/ a Jackson Racing supercharger kit, leaving everything else stock, for same power gain and 1/2 the cost. If you want 250to 300 hp then go turbo, but long term reliability will be decreased.

This is a bullshit statement. If done right your turbo can last as long as any NA engine. Its all in the tuning, just ask anyone in the FI forums. Go turbo way before supercharger if you want the power though.
