Default B18C is that a jdm type r motor?

I m very confuse about engine codes

Is B18c a JDM type r motor or a Jdm gsr motor... i HEARD it can be both from

inlinefour.com so confuse

both
99% of JDM motors dont have the identifying code at the end.
b18c could be GSR or ITR

b18c1 is GSR, c5 is ITR. dont know much abut the japanese, austr., canad, or UK versions.

yea japanese motors have no sufix after the b18c.
my R motor just says b18c. on it easiset way to tell is the head and tranny

Just to back it up, the JDM motors do not have a number suffix after the b18c. If you have the head off, the pistons will tell you what version it is: p72: GSR and P73 is R, plus the R pistons have a nice dome to them.
