b18c idles funny when i stop
i have just installed a larger sized throttle body (70mm rpm) on my gsr and it idled funny after i port matched it... i put the manifold in and everything and the car turned on then i drove it and when i hit a stop light or stopped completely my rpm's would almost drop to 0 like if it was going to stall but then it regains its composure and idles like 800 rpm after and it stays steady then i go again and the process repeats. i will reseal the vacuum lines and see if those were missing but i just had to post this to see... this shop said it might need a valve adjustment because my head was sounding kinda loud... what would u guys suggest me on doing if it was not my vacuum lines? should i just go ahead and try to get my valves readjusted? or would it be the settings on my throttle body...
also i tried looking for the thing to adjust the throttle on the throttle body and i couldnt find it on the RPM 70mm throttle bodies... i found a alan wrench kinda thing near the tps sensor but not sure if that could be it...and my 4mm was to small and my 5mm was to big perhaps they have a separate key? thanks for the help... anyone...

Did you try resetting the ECU after installing the throttle body. When I do stuff to my car and it starts idling like **** resetting the ecu usally does the trick. Did you reuse the throttle body gasket? It could be leaking.
Using the stock components (stock throttle body without your port matching) there exists a certain flow velocity in the intake. When you open things up with the parts that you did, you're killing this velocity - well, perhaps not killing it, but slowing it down to the point where not all the air that the ECU once thought was going into the manifold/chambers is still going in.
Is there an idle air bypass screw on this throttle body or just a throttle plate stop screw?
Raising the idle will probably help - but go to far in raising it and then you'll get the hunting idle.
Do you have a lot of mods to take advantage of this throttle body?

well i did pull out the back up fuse out of the box for like a minute then started it again... ill try the ecu though today... and reinstalled a better intake... cuz my adapter was to small and now the idle is not as bad ... i took it around the block and it didnt almost die on me... and
i didnt reuse the old gasket. i had to cut it myself when i bought a new one because when i port matched the manifold the gasket was to small...and also i dotn think there is a screw for the throttle body i have i cannot find it...
