ok so i all i want to know now is..........
with this setup:
toda c camshafts with valve spring kit
toda gears
toda 81.5mm pistons
toda 1mm head gasket

Would it be worth the extra 2g for the ITR engine since thats kinda whats 'factory tuned' on the ITR engine or should i just go with a GSR engine since i'm going to upgrade whats already better on the ITR engine over the GSR engine?

so flat out, with that setup, ITR or GSR engine?

1) well i guess they did have some custom tranny mount of some sort.
Yeah I modified the HCP mount to fit mine in. I posted a little guide on how to convert the chassis in the EF forum a while ago:

If you want HP, i'd go with the skunk2's rather than the toda's......importreview.com has comparison dynos in which the skunk2's outperformed the toda's.....

I'm not sure the price difference though

B18C5
I second, third, forth, and fifth that! Coosing the B18C5 swap for my daily driver leaves me with no regrets or doubts that the decision I made was the right one.

Go GSR motor. You gonna get a new valvetrain and pistons anyways. Use the money you save from getting the b18c1 and use it towards more mods.

i think i've decided to go with the ITR motor. What all on it is worth replacing on it. Should i go with the whole toda cams, gears, valve springs, pistons and headgasket, or should i leave some of the stock ITR components?
