B18b1 oil jet question.

Whats up ht. Havent been active for a while.
I am currently building another ls turbo. I picked up a block from a buddie and noticed that the oil jet is missing from the block. The jet im reffering to is aluminum colored and sits in one of the oil passages towards the intake side of block.

My question is do b18b1 engines have one od these and what are they for

Only VTEC motors have oil jets..the ones under each cylinder that squirts oil onto the bottom of the piston/wristpin.
What you're talking about doesn't sound like a jet/squirter but more like a galley restrictor or oil passage fitting. You're gonna have to post pics before we can help ya narrow it down...

i am unable to post a picture.But the part im reffering to is the little ALUMUMINUM jet that you remove when doing a mini me vtec swap.
