can seem to find a picture but does n e body know what this oil passage valve is actually called n it's purpose? its like a little screw that sits on top of the block in the middle on the intake manifold side where the head n block mates.

That's called the oil feed to the head. Its purpose is to keep your cams from locking up.

is that piece suppose to be flush with the block? reason i'm asking is that i recently did an lsvtec n it seems to be leaking right from that area. looked at another b18b block n it doesn't seem to be flush with the block, sticks out a little, thinking that might be causing the leak. n e ideas?
