Default B18 vtech head teardown

Hi all! I've taken on the task of re-assembling a cylinder head from a B18 GSR, for a good friend of mine. The valves and retainers have been assembled at the machine shop. I have already put the rocker assemblies back into the head. I have made sure to line up the oil passages correctly, and have installed the two oil orifaces for the rockers.

I have been looking over the parts diagram (mitchell) and it appears that there is one more oil control oriface as well as another dowel pin in addition to the two that align the head and block. Can anyone confirm this for me, as well as describe where they go? Thanks very much fellas.

apparently the dowel that is missing belongs between the middle cam cap and the head. However, I am still unclear on the missing oil control oriface, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I figured out that the oriface goes between between the head and block, I've got the part ordered and I think I should be able to sort this out. I have one more roadblock holding me back, the oil seals for the rocker assembly. There are three, two go in the front of the head, and the third goes in the rear. The rocker shaft seems too long for the one in the rear to be properly installed, certainly there is a trick to doing this that I've overlooked, and info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

apparently, I'm a dumbass.. I think the problem is that I have the rocker shafts installed backwards.. it would be great if someone could confirm this.

as best that I can tell, the end of the rocker shaft that has notches machined into it needs to face the back of the head, and the end with the single hole machined into it goes to the front of the head, and that hole actually accepts the oil orifaces...

hopefully I have this correct now.. thats what I get for trying to put together a head that I didnt take apart...
