b17 head?

Are the b17 heads the same as the b16 heads? do they have the same combustion chamber? any other differences?

yes exactlly the same. it has the same 42.7cc cumbustion chamber same intake manifold the only difference is that it say p61 on the intake manifold instead of pr3.

so $350 for a rebuilt b17 head would be a good price?

I found out its actually $450 if you do not have a core to exchange. I can't decide if It would be better to go with that or try to find a b16a2 head from a 99 or 2000 SI.
