Hey guys. I have a b16b head with a bent valve. I have 3 questions.

1. Would this kit I found on ebay help rebuild the head?

2. Would I be able to go turbo in the long run with this?

The kit seems like it'd be fine to rebuild the head with, but if you only have a single bent valve you can save yourself the money and only repair that single one. Just my .02. As far as going turbo in the future with it, yes you should be fine.

 

When I took it to the shop, they put a light through the block to make sure it was just a bent valve but they said it looked like it was just fine except of all the gunk that is in it, which is calling a rebuild (apperently). So I'm wondering if i should just go out and get a whole new rebuild kit or just get the broken part replaced? I need to get the car running ASAP.

 

Perhaps having them clean up before inspection might be a good idea

 

I'll ask them if they can clean it up a bit and dissassemble the head.
