B16a2 won't run or rough idle
I bought a b-16a2 coupe around christmas and it has been running great. It has never been the best starting car. when it was colder i would have to keep my foot on the gas for a while for it to warm up. I got a new IAT and this seemed to fix the idle problem for a while.
Then i took it out for a drive and it began to over heat after a 1/2 hour of driving or so. I quickly pulled over to let it cool down, and called my parents. I was going to have my parents tow it home, but I decided I could try driving it home to see if it would overheat. It went fine no CEL's (threw o2 code and VSS code on the way there) and it's heat stayed nice and low.
The next day I went to check it out and the oil cap was packed with oil foam
I changed oil to synthetic and started it up. It had a rougher idle than usual and seemed to be 8 cycling. It was also letting out a sizeable cloud of smoke, I thought this was problby caused form the changing of the oil.
Now however it wont' start, The plugs are fouled and black/wet. and when you take the 3rd cylinder spark plug out gray smoke comes out for a while after it is removed, blow by perhaps? When you do get it to run you have to have the pedal to the floor and it will idle at about 100 rpm for about a minute and then die, the whole time it sounds like it's a steam engine and it seems like it's firing on only one cylinder, but that could also feel that way becuase of how low the rpms are.
right now it's not thowing any codes, It has a new o2 sensor in it so i know it's not that anymore also.
Please Help

Never mind lol, sorry about that, I think the ecu might have been running it progressively richer and richer while the o2 sensor wasn't connected, now that it is it's going fine, I'm still not exactly sure what made it start running, but it's going fine now :S
Well now it's acting just fine :S There wasn't any oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil which makes me think not headgasket. Also it's no longer burning coolant or oil. I think maaaybe when i changed oil a bunch of it stayed in the head? Whatever it was seems to have fixed itself. Now it's just like it's always been, a little studder when you first start driving it but when you get it warmed up it's fine.
My first thought was headgasket also though from the over heating and oil burning, but headgasket problems don't just go away so i'm confused but happy ha ha.
