Hi guys

I have been having a problem recently. There was a crack on my gearbox casing on my b series gearbox. Had it repaired ans since its been put back my vtec has not been engaging,

when i pull a cel i get error code 17 (which is an error on vss) but my speedo has been working fine and accurately. No other error comes up besides 17

i have checked everything:
vtec solenoid was checked by connecting to positive battery terminal and hearing an audible click.
oil and oil pressure seems fine.

any ideas on why i receive that cel when the speedo works fine?
