I've recently got a motor drop and now using the B16a2 manifold and right on the very top of the manifold theres this thing that sticks out where I have no idea whats its suppose to run to. I've tried just to leave it alone but it causes my motor to idle like crazy so I capped it off with a rubber cap and clamp it shut. my idling seems better but it stills revs at 1.5k whenever the cars in motion even when its in neutral. Does anyone have any idea how or what may I do to solve this problem?

 

What car is this in? It sounds like you have a vaccum leak. May be missing a hose that connects to the IM

 

that port on the b16a2 is for the purg controll valve for emission controll good luck

 

Where should I look at for the vacuum leak and see if I could fix it. and What else can I do about the port thing above the intake manifold beside capping it off? Can I run it through a hose and into something to make it better?
