b16a2 head, will a distributor from a cx or dx work?
I have seen this question answered both ways. Some say I need any b series distributor, but I have heard of distributors from EF's being used in swaps.. Whats the ruling?

Nah, you want a distributor as the same OBD as your wiring harness in your car, OBD-I is different than OBD-II and so on.... The SOHC distributors have similar internals (the ignitor is hitachi as opposed to NEC, heat sinks on the ignitors are different, the spindles are different, and the housings are different. If you use an SOHC housing, your timing will be all jacked up. Do a search in the classifieds forum for distributors, you'll find something used....
