Alright so I have b16a and am trying to swap into a 1990 civic si hatch. The problem is that my engine harness does not match up to my vehicle harness. The engine harness has a plug going to the drivers side of the car with 11 wires but my car does not have the same type of plug. Wiring is my worst nightmare ha. Is there a jumper harness that I can buy or am a able to use a engine harness from a different engine? What should I do?

 

Can you post pics of the harness that your using and the plug? What year is the b16?

 

I don't know what year exact but I believe it's a first gen b16a Jdm version. I pulled it out of a 91 crx a few years ago.





Plug on vehicle harness drivers side by resister box. 8 wires






Plug on engine harness driver side 11 wires






Plug on engine harness passenger side 7 wires

It looks like that the chassis harness is from a dx or dpfi and the engine harness is an si mpfi. Not 100% sure on this.
