I did a quick search and didn't turn up anything useful... but I just bought a b16a to put in my 98 civic from ebay, and they don't know what car it's out of originally because they get their engines shipped to them from another company. All it says is b16a. But from what I understand, to do the swap, I just need the motor mounts and shift linkage from the same model car it was out of (in addition to my stock motor mounts). Can anyone tell me what car this would be? I would think integra, but I wouldn't know what year, or if any would work etc.

Also, it didn't come with a power steering pump. Can I put one on? AC?

b series stuff is interchangable, you can use any b series shift linkage , get the 99 si transmission mounts rear and upper, and 99 si engine mount, u can use any b series ac compressor and just use the si ps stuff

 

The only linkage that you can't use is the del sol

B16A Honda Civic SiR (JDM) 1989-1991

B16A Honda Civic (EDM) 1992-1995

B16A Honda Civic VTi 1996-2000

B16A Honda Del Sol/CRX SiR 1992-1996

B16A Honda Civic SiR (JDM-Hatch) 1989-1992....

But for the most part all b series parts are interchangable... hope this helps
