Default b16a question

new to hot rod imports. im getting a 90crx with a b16a engine swap and need to know how to identify year of engine and tranny model? any help would be great.

usually for the engine year, u go look on the head, the date will be stamped on the head as dials

also how do you identify a computer? im getting this crx from a tow yard for $200 so i know nothing about it other than it has a b16a in it and it runs and drives. i would like to find out what else has been swapped. any info on identifing components would be helpfull.

to i identify ECUs, theres going to be like a serial Number on the side
heres how u identify it

with the transmission there should be a number on it to for example like YS1 or Y1 or so

i went and looked at the tranny tag and its an a1 tranny. are these any good or should i look for another tranny?
