Since I don't have either on hand, I can't compare.

But, again, trying to use parts from Honda rather than Acura for the obvious reasons. But I need a lower timing cover for my 96+ GSR motor (Don't know WTF happened to it !)

Will the timing cover from a B16 (99) fit on a B18 ? (please, I need an experienced response, not a guess)

I modified a B16A's to fit my friend's LSVTEC.... It didn't go straight over so i had to dremel a couple tabs off.. If you do have to modify it for you're GSR then I would recommend just buyin a new B18C one.... Just looks cleaner...

 

yes the lower cover from a b16 works fine that is what i am using on my b18c
then you will need a upper gsr cover to cover the whole thing

It will work. Like Chugger said the top parts is the differences. Takes up the extra gap left behine by the taller block.
