i have to throw this out there, my searches werent getting me anywhere. i am about to do exactly what the title says, but i have not done it on a b series, only d series. are there any tricks or techniques i should know before i get my hands dirty? its due, 93K so i am doing the water pump with it, OEM honda parts.

the motor will then be put in my hatch immediately following the maintenance.

about the same thing. Only thing is if you have a big cam w/ stiff springs I would make sure the right side is as stiff as left side as well as the top (cause its dohc). If not turn the left cam gear cc and pulley clockwise till you get the desired tension.

My belt just snapped infront of my house(thank god.) I've never changed a timing belt on my GSR and i'm not quite sure how to go about it. I've already got the valve cover off and the top plastic cover off. I've also taken out three bolts on the bottom cover. Now i'm not sure how to get this piece off.

Do i have to remove the mount to actually get the belt on?

you can take out 2 of the 3 bolts on the block part of the mount, and then turn it so a gap opens up and slide the belt right out. i just got the swap in on saturday. here it is if you want to see the motor, http://www.carolinahondas.com/...22998

..... she is a clean one.
