Default b16 no vetec

i have a 99 si and i cannot get my damn vtec to work i have swapped out selonoids and everything. i dont know what is wrong with this damn thing i am running the skunk 2 p28 program and whenever it gets 2 4500 rpms the check engine light comes on it has been like this for about 3 months let me know if you can help

it was throwning 21 which is vtec selonoid

The car is throwing a code 21 and at one point it was throwing 22 as well. I took the car one day redid the wiring hard wired everything to the exact location that it is supposed to be and still no vtec took the solenoid off cleaned the screen still no vtec. Pretty much everything possible has been done to get vtec to work in this car beginning to think the problem might lie elsewhere

That car had electrical problems from when the first owner started modding it. I remember it had a jacobs ignition and some other items he removed and hacked some wires. Have you tried a different ECU yet? Does your speedo work alright? Is your ABS light on?

when i put the stock ecu back in my car the abs light did come on. my speedo is alright. that is always good news

VTEC you dork...lol if your car was still stock you would see that one the side....

code 45----fuel system too rich or lean.........that is some messed up stuff you have nothing done......
