Where can i find info about the 1.6 DOHC VTEC motor? I mean there are so many vairations of this motor, ie B16A1, B16A2 etc. Which one has the LSD? I want to get this motor for a project car i'm working on and wanna make sure i get the right one.

there is b16a1 and b16a2 in US i think, but at Japan there are all B16A or b16B, there is no A1 or A2. how do you tell if theres LSD, check the tranny before you buy it. if you can see right through it than its LSD, if you see an pin in there or something is blocking it than its non LSD.

 

there are only b16a2 (99-00 SI) and b16a3 (94-95 del sol vtec) in the US. in japan, SiR-I and SiR-II engines only say b16a. SiR-II's came with optional LSD transmissions.
