I don't think that is for MAP. What harness is this from? The only color combo that shows up for those colors is a 3 wire CKF sensor near the crank.

They were pulled out when I ripped the motor out of the donor car and it was running fine. Strange it doesnt have a proper plug though. I though i could just match it up the same as my other civic but They are different colors to my other civic though hoping someone might have the same colors or a wiring diagram with my colors.

The colors don't mean a thing. Do you think if honda ran out of a specific color they would stop making the wire harness and sit and wait. No they would run a diffrent colored wire and mo ve on. Gthat being said test from your ecu to your map sensor check resistance to those wires and you will figurre out what wire goes where. What kind of harness? What car? What year? What trim?

In my helms it says yellow white/ yellow red/ white yellow for the power and red green/for the signal to the ecu and green white ground. Best thing to do is disconnect your ecu and trace back from those 3 wires to the ecu end of the harness and find out to what pin are they going into the ecu at

Did you try what this guy told you back in August?

http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...red-wire-order

The easiest way to tell is to turn the ignition on (don't start the car). Using a voltmeter see what wire has 5V, see what wire is the ground, and by process of elimination the other will be signal.

There is no engine in the car, I was hoping to get this done in the mean time. How do I know which one is the earth? None of them mount to the chassis, they all go back into the loom

Yes actually they would. You can't just make changes like that on the fly. Everything has to be the same so a tech can follow the service manual. OP what engine harness do you have? Those wire colors don't suggest MAP sensor to me at all.

Pulled the b16 engine out of an efi eg4

As I have stated already they were plugged in and running fine before we pulled the motor out. Didn't think it would b this hard to figure out what goes where

Do you have a voltmeter with a continuity setting? Use this and touch one probe to the brown wire and touch the "D" plug on your ECU to D17 (if it buzzes this is the MAP sensor signal wire, 3rd wire from the back). If it doesn't buzz then try D19 (if it buzzes this is the MAP sensor reference voltage wire and goes in the first slot from the back). Try this with all three wires. If this works out then the last one will be the ground location as it probably shares ground with another sensor. If none of them buzz from touching those ECU locations then this is not the MAP sensor wiring. Here is a chart to show you where the D plug locations are.

Alll your grounds go back to a junction. That long piece of plastic withh the big connectors. Check for continuity there for the ground..this isn't as hard as your making it all but 5. Min of work
