Default B16 hydro trans problems

I have tried searching this with not much luck. Here's my problem. I have a hydro b16 tranny, a ITR LSD and a ITR 4.7 final drive kit. What do I need to get this all to work in this transmission or will it fit just fine. I have to get this done quickley so I dont want to run into any problems. Thanks.

well, quick might not be realistic. first of all you will have to have the proper
bearings pressed onto your ITR diff. secondly, you will need air tools to
remove the diff bolts from the diff to replace the ring gear. thirdly, you will
have to be able to replace the counter shaft and reinstall all the components
properly. I am not saying you cant do it, but if you never have before
quick should not be your main concern.

I work at a shop, I have all the proper tools, I have done many trannys. My post may of been misleading. I need to know partswise if I will need anything else. Im concerned that the ITR parts and the B16 parts will not work with each other. I know the ring gear is diffrent. Am I going to use the first gear that comes with the final drive or the first gear from the b16? What counter Shaft? Things of that nature. I have all the clearence specs for for the transmission. Im just worried about parts. I have to do this in one night after work, I can't tie up a lift my work frowns on that.

YOu have just about everything to drop it in. I think all you need left is the distance collar and the needle bearing. You have to use the 4.7 counter shaft andt the 1st gear. THe b16 stuff wont work.

The hardest part is getting the differential shim you'll need in a timely manner once you know which one to get.

I also can't remember which differential bearings you're supposed to use if you install an ITR LSD into a S4C. If you get the wrong ones, you won't be able to shim it correctly.

Maybe the solution is to buy both types of differential bearings and then a wide range of 80mm shims.

The final drive kit doesn't come with a new countershaft locknut or either of the two friction dampeners.

You can just leave the mainshaft alone unless you need to replace either of the two ball bearings.

Thanks guys. I was going to just reuse the friction dampners.(should I repalce them?) I have a new lock nut and the assortment of shims. Is anyone sure about the diff bearings im supposed to use?
