Default ITR Differential in b16 Tranny?

Kwell, my brother pretty much broke my differential.. either way thats irrelevant!

Got the tranny taken apart and now I am looking for a differential. I was wondering if a Type-R LSD would work with a b16 transmission because someone told me it didn't. I just wanted to come up here for some clarification.

I honestly thought it worked, but might as well ask you guys to be sure. Thanks!

You need an ITR or GSR ring gear, because the B16 ring gear won't work with the ITR diff. You also have to re-shim the new diff.
