b16 high compression?
ive got toda b's valvesprings and cam gears and skunk2 chipped p30... what compression should i be running with that setup i cant seem to find pistons that are over 10:8.1 (ctr) which is barely over stock compression.... any thoughts? keep it stock? do other things? idk ive been looking and looking and the compression pistons seem to be for b20 b16 head setups...?
Damn your right...highest i found was 10.5
If you posted this in the All Motor section i bet you'll get some good responces.
Another more expensive option, is to bore the sleeves...then get the wider pistons for the 1.8L...??

I calculated this out awhile back (not using those inaccurate online calculators) and I came up with ~11.1:1... All that's changed from the B16B motor is the piston to deck... This is not a considerable increase and if you're raising compression with a stock B16, the only way I personally would do it is with aftermarket pistons... We've had problems with Toda B's in the past, not because they're bad, they just seem to be kind of picky with the compression you're running... At 11.0:1 and below and 12.0:1+ they just don't seem to do too well from all my experience... David's 11.5:1 CRVTEC made only 185whp with Toda B's on Hondata (Portflow head and all)... But he did run consistent 12.30's (nothing special but considering the power output rated by our dyno that doesn't seem too bad)... Our 12.0:1+ CRVTEC's actually made more power with CTR/ITR cams... Sorry to go off topic, just trying to give a little insight... Good Luck
