Default b16 from hell help

also posted this in the crx ef forum
but i thought you guys might now too thanks
dropped in my running b16a3 motor into my brothers std which was already wired and running a d16a6
i just used the b16a3 longblock
used obd0 dizzy pr3 ecu and all obd0 intake manifold sensors
I plugged everything right back up
now i havent wired the knock sensor or vtec
it just cranks like it wants to start but no combustion and makes some attemps to turn but just back fires a bit and dies
P.S. also changed timing belt
but it sounds like its on time

when i put my b16 in my eg. some sensors were bad and 1 injector. So it want to start. Check all your sensors. All your grounds. And see if your getting spark to the plugs. Check to see if the injectors are working. Make sure you have good spark plugs. Also to chack if your distributer is getting power put a test light on the black and yellow wire. You should have power there.

yes obd-0 and obd-1 are different... if you have an obd1 ecu you can use obd1 dizzy

sounds like a ghetto rig. If you got spark, right timing, fuel and all your fuses are fine. Then it has to be the wiring to the ecu.
