B16 head on GSR
Hey I don't know why i never really thought of this before, but i was just wondering cuz i'm goin to be reassembling my friends GSR with his OLD B16 head since his B16 block got fucked up when the thrust washer fell out. If he is to go with a Cometic head gasket that is around 0.015-0.020" the compression should remain around what a stock GSR is (10:0-10:1)... But should I just use a B16 head gasket since the cumbustion chamber is round unlike the GSR? Just wondering which one i should use. And for the head bolts can i just use the stock B16's or do i need GSR's. The only reason I'm wondering is cuz i've built LSVTECs and stuff like that before but you always use the gasket for the block.... Thanks in advance...
