b16 gears and lsd in ls tranny?
recently, i had my ls swap rebuilt, but the ls tranny is stock (except for clutch) and is wanting to grind.
my question is will b16 gears fit into the ls tranny because i found this on ebay and i think its a good price.

will this work, and if it will, is there anything else that i would need to buy or do to make this work.

I dunno, I would trust him. If you look at the last item he sold..... it was advertised as a JDM Gague Cluster that reads MPH, correct me if I am wrong but would a JDM Cluster read Kilometers Per Hour?
If your tranny is cable then the gears should fit. If your trans has a hydrolic clutch then the b16 gears won't fit. Notice the shift forks in the pic are for a cable type trans. Hydrolic B-series gears and shafts are interchangeable( except ITR shafts) Note: you will need to use the shift forks that go with the corresponding gears- they have different diameters . Good luck!
don't bother with the phantom slip.
ask the seller how many teeth or on the countershaft 5th gear.
multiply the number by the suspected ratio
0.848 for b16
0.747 for gsr
0.714 for ls
(you get the idea)
if you get a whole number, or something like
29.989898
then it's the ratio that you multiplied by.
example.
33 teeth on a jdm dohc zc countershaft 5th gear
ratio is listed as 0.878
33 * 0.878 = 28.974
28.974 is very close to 29
so lets try 29/33
29/33 = 0.8787878787878787878787878787878
get it?
got it?
Good.

Thats like emailing someone who's add says "no dents clean paint, only 2 rock chips" to count the number of rock chips on the car.
