Default b16 with diff. pistons

hey does itr pistons or ctr pistons give the same compression in a b16 as they do in their intended engines?
for example will i get 11.1 comp with jdm itr pistons in my b16? or the same 10.8 comp with ctr in a b16.

just trying to make a nice compression ratio for NA. last time i went too overboard with a .08 mill and ctr's

also at what compression ,for example 11.1 or even higher should you use a higher octane gas. im sick of using 100 oct in my previous car, i plan to use 92, and i want a comp # that works well with that grade. any useful insights are aprecciated, since i really want this motor to come out primo

If your engine has PR3 pistons, then only P30 and PCT pistons will provide a compression upgrade. If your engine has P30 pistons, then only PCT's will offer a compression upgrade. Using a stock headgasket and PCT's, you should be looking at around 11:1 if not just a touch more, then you'll have the option of running a thinner headgasket, milling, etc.

CTR in B16 makes for about 11.5-11.7 with a stock headgasket, unmilled head.
