Default b16 bogging, need help!

I have a b16a1 in a crx si. Ever since I did the swap the motor bogs while driving normal. For example, in any gear, at a steady speed it will bog a bit, and if I want to gain some speed it won't go, and if I step on the gas it doesn't do anything until I give it a lot of gas and then it pulls really hard. It sounds different when this happens too. Don't know what it could be. Have no Check engine codes. What is it!

Did you do the swap yourself? Is it idling fine? I'm having the same problem. Found out the hoses were not installed properly. Also, I noticed the rad fan does nto come on, so I'm waiting to get that fixed. Hopefully by then it will disappear. So, recheck hoses, possibly the wiring harness, etc.

Regards,

Oz

Yes I did the swap myself. I rechecked the wiring ten times, and its all good. I don't know exactly where the vacuum hoses go because the b16 intake manifold is different and I don't know what to compare it to. It idles fine by the way. Can it be air in the cooling sytem?

Check your plugs and wires or fuel filter.

It's called no torque.

Like those guys said, check all your fittings, hoses, lines, etc.

Bogging like mis-firing or boging like your in too high of a gear?

Check your plugs and wires and distributer. Good luck.

It's not bogging like I'm in too high of a gear. It will do it even above 3000 rpm. I can't really explain it that well. It just seems like it's not getting fuel, but it's not running lean. I have new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter.

Since this is a jdm b16a it has two o2 sesors on the exhaust manifold. What o2 sensors here are compatible. Or can I test these somehow to see if they are good?

yes it definetely has two right on the exhaust manifold, side by side. That's why when you put a first gen b16 into a crx you have to wire up the second o2 to the ecu.
