Default b series vtec swap tech

ok i have a b18b in my 98 teg.. now i have a b20 and am going b20/vtec

can i use my fuel rail/injectors from my old b18b? (i know the injectors are the same and am pretty sure on the fuel rail)

can my TB from my b18b fit onto a type-r or b16a intake mani?

i have a skunk2 mani on my b20 now that i also had on my obd 2 b18b... will a type r be the same as the skunk2 as far as sensors go so that i can just swap an r intake mani onto a b16 head?

whats the best way to wire in vtec? can i just plug in a b16a obd2 ecu and wire in a vtec solenoid into the harness? im assuming it would run a b20/vtec fine with increased fuel pressure to compensate for the displacement increase.... or can i use my stock b18b ecu with a vafc... (yes i know about the redline and hondata is better)

i sit at work all day and read hundreds of posts.... its not like i dont try to find the answers...

yeah sorry, i thought you were using a B18B manifold

so what you are REALLY asking is:

is the Type R IM same as Skunk 2?

actually, no - that isnt what you are asking -= damnit what ARE you asking????

Yes. The fuel rail will probably fit better without the spacers, however. That was the case with mine.

Yes, you can use the B18B fuel rail, its exactly the same as an ITR fuel rail. And yes, you can use the B18B TB on the sk2 manifold. You'll also have to swap over the mounting posts for the TB + fuel rail when you get the Skunk2 manifold.

As for the ecu, since you're OBD2 I suggest and ITR/P73 ecu; or if you decide to go OBD1, get an ecu jumper and a reprogrammed OBD1 ecu, usually reprogrammed P28 ecu's are the more affordable way to go.

For wiring, you can stick with your OBD2/LS engine harness & just add the wires for vtec + knock sensor. But lets say you happen to get a 98 type-R or GSR engine harness which already has th vtec wires embedded into it, you'll still have to wire up VTEC components from the ecu to the main harnes shock tower plugs, so you're best of sticking with your orginal harness.
