I've got a GSR trans with R LSD. Broke the final drive and counter shaft and had those replaced. Now when I drive, and make turns, it makes violent knocking and shaking. Only happens when turning though, going straight is ok. Ive tried replacing the axles, had new diff bearings installed and it still does the same thing. Last thing I havent tried replacing is the diff. Anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong?

It's pretty tough to break a helical diff. One question though: why didn't you taken this to a qualified technician THE DAY IT STARTED HAPPENING?

Online discussion boards are a very bad place to get real mechanical help, as it most often takes a careful, in person inspection of the problem to figure out the solution.

When that has happened to me and a few others it was the diff. You may have some of the pieces that broke off stuck down inside of the diff.
