My tranny broke where it connects to the motor mount. Both holes broke. So now i need a tranny casing. I have a GSR tranny on there. Would any casing work? Or do the casings have to be Hydro??? Any help would be great!

wouldnt know about the GSR but from experience with EDM and JDM B16A cable gearboxes, they are different internally.

Can you not tap in a bigger hole and use larger bolts, or is the casing split ?

 

The casing split. Also I have the b16 sirII which came as a hydro tranny. So anyone??? Are the cases the same?

yes, you can swap it with the sir2 one.Remember to check clearances though
