B-Series Headwork
**I had ferra valves, crower springs, and retainers. When they did the valve job they set the spring rates to a certain number. What happens if that spring tension is too high.
**Also have b-series block with crowler rods and je pistons 9.1 compression
**My engine sound very loud(kinda like a diesel).

Premature wear on the rocker assembly and cams, the valve heads could be broken off ,or the keepers might pull through the retainers.Do you know how much pressure their at?
*Not sure but i know it was slightly more than recommended.
The crowlers springs are part #68185
Installed pressure should be 56lbs mine is 60lbs
Open pressure should be 183lbs mine is 185lbs
But who knows these could have been made up.
Would low compression cylinders cauld this due to bad combustion, bad blow by r*ight now and am going to sent the block out to be re-sleeved but want to know what this problem is.
*Maybe I should send the head out to be re-checked by another shop.
Any recommendations??
