B series coolant line question...
I just have a quick question regarding a coolant line routing I have proposed. I just wanted to confirm this, because I don't really wan't to sacrafice the flow of coolant through the engine because I messed up the lines.
I currently have one of the 5/8" outlets on the water pipe pluged, as well as the 5/8" port on the block plugged. I'm just wondering if I can put in a 180degree coolant line connecting the ports, and not kill the flow of the coolant system?
From what it looks like in my book, the line on the coolant pipe normally goes to the oil cooler, and then to the port on the block...but I'm not 100% sure...thus the reason why I'm asking. Obviously I don't have the oil cooler, so don't ask.

Check out acuraparts247.com for pictures under the 'water pipe' section. That stuff isn't the same for ALL different years.
But without anaylzing anything, my first thought is you're better off having them plugged like they are now. Look at hose configuration for engines that didn't have an oil cooler. Incidentally, that pipe is the pump suction, so the water would flow towards the pipe.
