no it's not safe at all for honda auto transmissions for a variety of reasons. Honda uses a bandless design on their transmissions, which makes their fluid work a little harder than regular Dexron III. The friction modifiers and detergents are very specific in their formulation because of the design and materials used in their transmissions. Trick shift is designed for use on large mechanical controlled domestic transmissions by Ford and GM which it really does have an effect. If you want to go run under boost with an auto trans, you have to get a race torque converter with a higher stall rate. Honda transmissions are computer controlled so you'll also have to alter the program for that too. It's ok to mess around with the shifter under 65mph (kinda like sport shift) but it just wears your transmission fluid down faster (heat is what kills it). 4th gear is overdrive....for spirited auto driving stick it into 3rd position or turn overdrive off. 2 and 1 are useless unless you're towing uphill and downhill. You should change auto tranny fluid every 30k. I can go on and on..but bla...n/m
