Default flare on 2-3 shift

I have a 98 Civic EX with an automatic. It has about 77K miles on it and I have changed the trans fluid regularly with Honda tranny fuid. There are no leaks and the fluid is at the proper level. Over the last few months I have noticed the trans flare on the 2-3 shift. The RPMs go up at least 500-1000 and the shift is fairly lazy, not firm at all. It doesn't do it every time, but it seems to be slowly increasing in frequency. I suspect it is one of the shift solenoids sticking. Any thoughts on what else it could be? New solenoids are pretty expensive. Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to get ahold of some used solenoids? My local junkyards apparently don't have any Honda transmissions.

Thanks,
Marc

junkyards have honda trannys, but they'll never part a tranny out. So they'll just as easily tell you they don't have the tranny.
