Icon6 b-20 build

So im going to be building a b20 w/ turbo from the ground up. And thus far I have found that dart makes a performance block. So I guess my first question is there any other company that builds honda engine blocks, and how do they compare? And what would the best(strongest) crank, rod, and piston combination to use? Im not looking for the cheapest or easiest way to complete the build cause that will only lead to weakness.

So you don't sound like you're pipe dreaming or window shopping, how about we list something simple, like a power goal?

600HP is the very least I would be happy with but I think 750HP would be perfect(if possible). I didnt mention this before but I dont necessarily want this to be a daily driver but I dont want to have to trailer this from A to B either when I bring her out

- look at build threads in forced induction forum
- find one you like and makes the power you want
- copy it

yes, it's that easy.

why?

there's nothing new or groundbreaking going on here. everything that can be done, has been done. why would you trust the random OPINIONS of others on what *may* work or may not because it's what they heard or their cousin's brother's uncle's cell mate said it was da bomb, when you can look at the FACTS of what actually works?

it's obvious you dont know much about these motors, with your mention of a dart block that NOBODY uses. so how will you know whether someone giving you their opinion is full of **** or not?

I see your point. its a valid one and I have been browsing those posts but I need 2 posts to become a permanent member or whatever they call it and this seemed like a relevant topic for me to start with. And I figured the opinions of many coupled with careful research of those opinions will help me make the best decision. From what I have noticed people on here seem to be more than happy to ridicule others ideas if its wrong. And from what ive heard people dont use the dart block because its a little over 2 grand, but if you know of a company that makes a stronger block do-tell.

You just got the regular beat down. From the regular beaters at that.
Dart is a different animal, for different goals. It has a taller deck that allows for a greater rod ratio which is very important in high rpm breathing (HP production), not for at all the adverage build. Custom rod length, pistons etc..
A Golden Eagle sleeved block is about the (gold standard) for anything 500+. It'll run about $1500. and is virtually indestructable (tuned properly), at any power level to 1300HP they claim and hold reccords everywhere.
IMO (in my opinion), stock crank to 700hp. ANYBODIE'S 4130 rods will work at your desired power and ARP stud it top and bottom.
DOOD is wrong about "nothing new or groundbreaking going on here". There are many threads that have a hint of something new going on. You have to be smart enough to see it or know what your looking for. I have posted several NEW ways/ things for everyone to see, along with a current thread on high power nitrous use. There are awesome resources here if you can sift through the BS.

what exactly is new or groundbreaking that you're referring to? your cut valve cover with the **** on the end?

people have been making big power with nitrous for years as evidenced in your thread. they all bring up valid points on it's limitations. the fastest honda guys in the world arent using it. what's so different about what you want to do?

As technology advances people may be pushing the envelope of what has already been done but no one is doing anything entirely new with these cars.
