Axles........hub......??
does anyoe know which axles, if any require an O-ring type spacer, or bearing if you will, to fit between the outer cv joint casing ad the hub assembly....here is why i ask.....
when i pop the axle in the tranny and slip it trough the hub, fire it up, put itin gear, it turn freely.....sweet!.....but as soon as i tighten the axle nut onto the axle, it is pulling it so tight that the axle no longer will spin @ all......???

There is a metal ring on the inside part of the hub. You MUST pull out the metal ring on both hubs or it will not spin as soon as you tighten the 32mm nut. Just take a flathead screwdriver and pry them out. Leave the rubber O-ring on the axle itself. That should solve all of your problems.
I am also guessing your putting a B series motor into your 88-91 civic/crx.

no, it is a zc swap...and i had the tranny ad axles in for about 2500 miles before hte motor blew....i talked to a couple of Honda techs, and they said that if i just back the axle nut about 1/4 turn that i should be fine, as long as i punch the nut into the groove....so i did...hope it doesn't tear anythin up...and tere was NO metal ring, or rubber washer before or now....but i pulled it off of the jackstands finally and pulled it out of the garage and bcak in...i am going to wait for sunlight and no rain before i venture down the road, just in case!!! but thanks for the replies so quickly....other boards don't reply as quick sometimes.....
